Typical air operated ratio pumps are constructed with 50 to 65 separate parts - a third of which are moving parts. Moving parts are subject to wear and tear and eventually require service and replacement. Generally pump repairs cannot be made in the field and require special training and equipment. The Faith Tank system is constructed with serviceable parts outside the storage tank resulting in equipment that is practically maintenance-free.

By pumping virtually every quart of oil out of the tank.

Ratio pump pickup tubes leave several quarts, sometimes gallons, that cannot be pumped out. Faith Tanks draw oil from the bottom of the storage tank, allowing you to pump virtually every quart out. This also uses older oil first so there is no old oil build up which could contaminate the bottom of the tank.
